One of the powerful uses of Templates is to prepare in advance files you may use time and time again. By creating a template they will be prepared in advance and readily available through the File > New menu option. One example of this would be a Cap Back template with various arcs. The file can have the lettering style, underlay, pull compensation and other properties preset. All the user must do is change the text to the desired arc and generate the stitches. I have included a sample cap back template for your use. To install Download the Cap Back.EMT file. Move the Cap Back.EMT template file from the EDSOnLine folder to the Wilcom Template folder. The template folder is normally found in C:\Program Files\Wilcom\ES\Templates To use Once the template is installed you may open the template using File > New When the Select Template dialog box opens select Cap Back from the list. Click OK. The template will load Double click the desired text object Change the template to the desired wording in the Property area Click Update Text Generate the stitches The template will automatically center itself for stitching.
